The Code sets out the professional standards of conduct expected of chaplains who are registered with the UKBHC. The Code may also be adopted as a best practice guide for volunteers, students, visiting ministers of religion and representatives of faith groups or communities who are not registered.
First published in 2010, the code of conduct was updated by the board in 2012 and most recently again in 2014.
